I have always loved the illustrations created by women like Cicely Mary Barker and Helen Beatrix Potter. I imagine that most women my age do: Growing up with Peter Rabbit and Victoria Plum with their soft water colours and ink outlines always a pleasure to gaze upon.
The piece that I am currently working on is to pay homage to these ladies and many like them trying to earn a living in the early 1900's. This is where I am so far, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you when its finished :)
